TRADS CPD Breakfast Briefing: UK Business Rates Revaluation 2023 by DWD LLP

The Tenant Representation Advisors Society invites TRADS Members to attend a CPD event being delivered by Alan Vickery & Jeff Norris of DWD LLP.
Business rates are now on the agenda for occupiers because of significant forthcoming changes – on 1st April 2023, new rateable values and new charging rules shall come into force across the United Kingdom. The purpose of the revaluation is to update the tax base to reflect the market values from 1st April 2021 in England and Wales (October 2021 in Northern Ireland and April 2022 in Scotland) valuing several million properties at valuation dates disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alan Vickery & Jeff Norris will provide a summary of the tax, the upcoming changes and some of the key issues that are focusing the minds of tenants.
