Martin says ‘Since 2018 it has been against the law to lease out EPC Grade F & G commercial and residential buildings. The result has been thousands of buildings improved, from LED lighting to loft insulation. The Government's proposal is that the MEES level is raised to EPC Grade C by 2027 and Grade B by 2030. This seminar will cover the 5 steps to dramatically improve the energy efficiency of investment buildings, resulting in financial benefits for both landlord and tenant. There are substantial opportunities for surveyors as we continue to massively improve the UK's building stock.’
